Kate is a grade eight student at her local neighbourhood school. She lives a very typical life. She loves music, dance, running, walking, swimming, watching movies, horseback riding, family and friends. 

Despite all her challenges, Kate is the coolest kid you’ll ever meet. She’s fun to be around, happy and smiley, very sociable, and is very determined. She is loved so much by her family, especially her big brother Jamie. Jamie is the best big brother in the world. He is her protector and has an innate ability to fill her needs and find her niche.

Kate is sweet; Kate is happy; Kate is so well-loved. She is the most beautiful girl we’ve ever seen. We believe in miracles.
